About

The Artist behind Smoggie Art has one wish, for others to embrace both the natural beauty and industrial landscape of Teesside just as she has. An area often subject to much malign, Smoggie Art hopes to showcase this in her drawings. Whereas her first love will always be the Transporter Bridge, there are many other iconic scenes in the area and she has quickly established a portfolio of local landscapes using her unique style combining pencils and black pen.. This website hopes to show that it certainly isn’t grim up North!

Smoggie Art is currently a featured independent company working alongside Independent Teesside. Alongside this Smoggie Art prints can currently be purchased locally at both Five Houses in Crathorne and The Grange at Kirklevington. Smoggie Art is always interested in further collaborations in order to spread the love so if there are any companies out there who wish to brighten up their shops, restaurants and bars, please get in contact!

Alongside the A4 prints available from the shop online, I also sell A4 and A3 framed prints, original drawings and A5 greetings cards. I have also released a range of ‘Smoggie Art’ mugs, coasters and bags, available to buy, just e-mail me!

Only recently with the onset of lockdown due to COVID19 I have also ventured out into jigsaws. These are available to order and are being made in Germany, so there is a slight delay in receiving these. However, they are Ravensburger, and excellent quality. Available in sizes ranging from 49 to 1000 pieces, to suit the ability of both children and adults of all ages. I am able to order jigsaws with the majority of the pictures within the ‘Smoggie Art’ shop, so if you are interested just e-mail me at Lynnie@smoggieart.com.

A number of my recent pictures have been inspired by the pandemic and I have released a range of ‘rainbow’ prints, featuring Roseberry Topping, the Transporter Bridge, the Bottle of Notes and the Angel of the North. All profits from the prints are going to SANDS (stillborn and neonatal death society) and these prints are now available to purchase via the website. Thanks to all of you who have already purchased these, your support has been tremendous.

If there is anything you see you like, but want more information, please just e-mail Smoggie Art for more information…

Smoggie Art can also do Commissioned pieces, so please get in contact with any requests, either through this webpage, via Facebook, or Instagram.
